In a shared environment, Act! Pro is designed to work with up to 10 users and Act! Premium is designed to work with more than 10 users. Recommended server system requirements are for environments of more than one user.
I resolved this error: The machines have been rebooted and my work laptop has had ACT reinstalled. This in a sense is strange since i cant open by running act and then finding the database, but it will open and work fine when i use the shortcut.
